As the weather warms up and the days get longer, June is the perfect time to get out, explore, and try something new. To help you fill your calendar with confidence, we have put together a great list of inclusive experiences.
Whether you are looking to spark your creativity, connect with community, or simply enjoy a great day out in a supportive environment, here are 6 accessible events to enjoy this June that put inclusion and comfort right at the heart of the experience.
1) West London Inclusive Arts Festival
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Ealing Green, London
3rd June 10.30 – 1.30pm
The West London Inclusive Arts Festival is hosting a meet-the-family community and networking gathering. The event provides a welcoming, collaborative environment where families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can meet arts partners, share ideas, and build confidence. Accessibility
Pitzhanger Gallery is accessible for wheelchairs users. The gallery entrance has level access, with lower floors served by a lift. An accessible bathroom is located on the lower floor of the gallery building.
Wheelchair: They have a wheelchair on-site that visitors can use, so it will be available when you visit. Please email foh@pitzhanger.org.uk to reserve it.
Disabled visitors: They are entitled to a concession ticket. Carers and assistants accompanying disabled are entitled to free entry. See Tickets and Concessions for full details.
Disabled parking: They have 3 disabled bays on Mattock Lane, but they're not owned by the venue, so they can’t guarantee you will get a space.

2) The Coming of Age Lights Up And Audio Described Tour
Wellcome Collection, London
5th June 2pm - 6pm
This event is designed for visually impaired and blind visitors. It includes a specialised audio-described tour led by trained guides, Lights Up environmental settings (increased ambient lighting for low-vision navigation), and step-free access throughout the entire tour route. 3) Disability Disco
Sands End Arts And Community Centre
Fulham, London 5th June 7pm – 9pm
If you want to have fun and love to dance, come and join the Disability Disco. It’s a great opportunity to show off your dance skills, connect with the community through great music and a buzzing atmosphere. If you're not up for dancing you can relax and watch. 4) Photography Composition & Social
The Photography Foundation
North Grenwich 11th June 6pm – 9pm
The Photography Foundation is hosting a wonderfully inclusive, relaxed photography workshop designed specifically with neurodivergent individuals in mind.
If you want to learn a new skill, explore a creative outlet, or simply connect with like-minded people in a low-pressure environment, this workshop is the perfect place to start. No previous experience is required.

5) Sensory Sailors
National Maritime Museum
East Greenwich 13th June 11am – 12.30pm
Disabled children under 13 years of age can enjoy a sensory play session. It’s a fun way for them to engage and explore the museum's collections and get creative together. Tickets are free, but pre-booking is required. Follow the link to book: SENsory Sailors: June Tickets.

6) The Autism And ADHD Show
Business Design Centre, London
Birmingham
19th June 9.30am – 4.30pm & 20th June 10am – 4pm
The UK's largest annual gathering and exhibition dedicated to supporting the neurodivergent community and is returning for it’s 15th Year. Accessibility
The venue offers full step-free and lift access to all floors. The event features a dedicated Senso Cube (a quiet sensory decompression room) away from the main exhibition floor, alongside Lego brick-based therapy workshops designed for comfortable, low-pressure participation.

Accessible toilets are available on every floor and are opened with a Radar key. If you forget to bring your own, they have one available at reception.
