1) Summer Run
Regents Park, London
2nd August
Get ready for the One in the Park Summer 10K run, hosted by OneRace Events in London's iconic Regent's Park. The race features a beautifully scenic, three-loop route along wide tarmac paths, passing right by the blooming floral gardens, the boating lake, and the London Zoo. True to its mission, the event warmly welcomes participants of all abilities, including wheelchair users and those running with buggies. Whether you are aiming for a personal best on a fast course or want to soak in the relaxed, supportive summer atmosphere, this is a fantastic event for everyone. Accessibility

2) Relaxed Mornings
Hampton Court Palace
2nd & 19th August
Hampton Court Palace offers Relaxed Mornings in The Magic Garden tailored specifically for neurodivergent and learning-disabled children, their families, and carers. These early-bird sessions transform the interactive, history-themed playground into a calm, welcoming environment. To support sensory comfort and ease anxiety, visitor capacity is kept strictly low, noise levels are minimised, including turning off hand dryers and garden fountains and no public tannoys are used. It’s a great opportunity for disabled visitors to explore outdoor play in a quiet comfortable setting. Tickets cost £1. Accessibility
The palace has 10 disabled parking bays for visitors and it’s currently free to park for blue badge holders. Two of their bays are closest to the palace entrance. For blind and partially sighted visitors, they offer audio tours. Disabled visitors will need to show proof of disability on the day of your visit to get a free companion ticket. This can be an Access Card, Blue Badge, Freedom Pass or PIP letter.

3) Early Birds
Science Museum, London
15th August - 6.30pm – 9.30pm
The Science Museum hosts Early Birds, an event dedicated to those with sensory needs. It runs on selected dates across the year. For this event, they will be celebrating all things to do with space. You will be taken on a journey through the solar system with hands on workshops and much more. The event is free to attend, but booking is required. Accessibility
- Lifts - The venue has lifts, with the majority being wheelchair accessible and audio announcements and braille labelling on the buttons.
- Accessible toilets – They are available on all levels of the venue
- Mobility equipment – Manual wheelchairs and folding stools are available on the day and can be pre-booked.

4) The Children's Story Centre
Luna Loves London, Stratford
23rd August – 4.10pm – 5pm
The Children’s Story Centre in Stratford is hosting a Sensory Adapted session of Luna Loves London. It’s based on the beloved children's book series; this interactive, multi-sensory exhibition lets young explorers step onto a big red bus, climb inside oversized storybooks, and join a vibrant street carnival. Specially modified for neurodivergent children and those with special educational needs (SEN), this session features strictly reduced group numbers, lowered light and volume levels, and full freedom to move around or make noise at any point. Accessibility
The venue aims to be accessible as possible for all visitors and provides a range of facilities to assist during your visit.
The venue has step-free access to all entrances with a lift going to all floors, with an accessible toilet available on each floor.
Disabled parking: Blue badge bays are clearly marked on the premises. You can also park near the surrounding streets in the shared use parking bays.

5) Relaxed Openings
Tower Bridge
8th August – 9.30am – 11.30am
Tower Bridge hosts Relaxed Openings for neurodiverse guests and anyone looking to enjoy a sensory-friendly adventure. It’s a great way to take in the skyline views as you step into the glass walkway above the Thames. To find out more, please follow the link Relaxed Opening at Tower Bride.
Accessibility
Step-free access is available throughout, and accessible toilets. The closest station is London Bridge. They have step free accessible toilets.
