In September last year our founder, Zubee and her friend and colleague, Raya launched a new podcast called, My Voice, to give disabled people from ethnic minority backgrounds a platform to share their stories as these voices are often under represented. In our second episode, we welcome our first guest, Azeem Amir.
Azeem is a visually impaired professional footballer who plays for the England blind football team. He is also the founder of Learn with ESS, which provides disability awareness training for businesses, schools and colleges in the UK. We speak to Azeem about his childhood, disability, how he started his career in sport, competing at a professional level and his motivations for starting his own business.
